Suggest a Café topic!
Café Scientifique is a popular program that brings teenagers together to explore, discuss, and debate the latest ideas in science and technology. We have stimulating conversations with experts working on the cutting-edge of scientific research in a social setting. We also have follow up activities that engage teens in hands on activities, field trips, experiments or active discussions. If you have an idea for a Café topic or something you would like to learn by doing an activity, let us know.
We are beginning to recruit speakers for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009. Please, suggest a topic you are interested in! We are also interested in your ideas for active learning projects for the fall follow-ups. If you have a great idea for a follow-up, we will come up with a Café speaker to complement it, and visa versa.
Describe the topic or follow up activity the best you can. Feel free to include the name of a speaker, if you know someone who excels at speaking to teens.
