We are producing a lot of CO2 from burning fossil fuels to light our houses, power our economy, and move us around. By changing the concentration of this greenhouse in our atmosphere, we are raising atmospheric CO2— with potentially dire consequences for climate. We urgently need to figure out what to do about CO2 emissions. This Café will explore some exciting frontiers of research on technologies for getting rid of excess CO2. Can we head off environmental catastrophe with such technology? Will major lifestyle changes also be necessary? Join us for a very stimulating Café!
